StudioK Wellness offers a calm, considered approach to movement and holistic wellbeing. Each session is designed to support strength, balance, and recovery through a combination of tailored practices, helping clients feel more connected, aligned, and at ease in their bodies.
Founded by Katie, who trained at the Italia Conti Academy of Performing Arts, the studio brings together a background in movement with a passion for supporting individual wellbeing. Her approach is thoughtful and personalised, creating a space where clients of all ages can feel supported, understood, and guided at their own pace.
Katie’s training spans classical ballet, BarreConcept, and systematic kinesiology, alongside a range of complementary therapies. This combination allows her to take a well-rounded approach to each session, blending movement, alignment, and holistic techniques to support both physical and overall wellbeing.
Strength, balance and graceful movement.
Barre fitness blends elements of ballet, Pilates and functional strength training to create a workout that is both graceful and effective. Using small, controlled movements and focused posture work, sessions help develop strength while encouraging balance, stability and body awareness.
The practice focuses on building strength through low-impact, high-repetition movements that target the core, legs and supporting muscles. Over time this improves posture, increases flexibility and helps the body move with greater control and ease.

Soundbath sessions offer a deeply calming experience where soothing tones and vibrations gently wash over the body and mind. Using instruments such as singing bowls and other resonant sounds, the session creates an immersive atmosphere designed to help you relax, slow down and step away from the pace of everyday life.
As the sounds unfold, the body is encouraged to move into a state of deep rest. Many people find this helps quiet the mind, release tension and support a sense of inner calm, allowing both body and mind to reset.

Systematic Kinesiology is a holistic therapy that works with the body’s natural energy systems to identify imbalances that may be affecting physical, emotional or mental wellbeing. Through gentle muscle testing, it helps reveal areas where the body may benefit from support and rebalancing.
Katie is a qualified and UK licensed practitioner in Systematic Kinesiology, trained to work with the body’s responses to better understand how stress, nutrition and lifestyle factors may be influencing overall health.

Children’s Wellness sessions are designed to help young people develop healthy habits for both body and mind. Through gentle movement, breathing exercises and mindful activities, children are encouraged to explore ways of relaxing, focusing and connecting with how they feel.
Katie brings extensive experience working with children and creates a warm, supportive environment where they can feel safe and comfortable. She is DBS registered for working with children and is also a licensed chaperone, ensuring sessions are delivered with professionalism, care and attention to safeguarding.
Activities are tailored to suit different ages and abilities, helping children build confidence, improve focus and develop simple tools they can use in everyday life to manage stress, emotions and energy levels.
Children’s Yoga introduces simple poses, breathing exercises and playful movement that help develop balance, coordination and body awareness. Sessions are gentle, engaging and adapted to suit different ages and abilities, encouraging children to move with confidence while also learning how to relax and focus.
Colour Therapy sessions explore the calming and expressive qualities of colour through creative and sensory activities. Children are encouraged to engage with colour in a natural and enjoyable way, helping them explore emotions, express how they feel and experience colour as a gentle tool for relaxation and emotional awareness.
Mindfulness sessions introduce children to simple techniques that help them slow down, focus and become more aware of their thoughts and feelings. Through breathing exercises, guided awareness and calming activities, children develop practical tools they can use to manage emotions, reduce stress and improve concentration.
